Brief Profile

Dr. Naresh Shanmugam underwent his undergraduate training at Stanley Medical College and Postgraduate Training in Paediatrics at the Institute of Child Health, Chennai. To enhance his skills, he underwent training at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH, UK) accredited structured training program in Paediatrics and Neonates (Certificate of completion of training, C.C.T) and then he took up sub-specialty training in Paediatric Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Nutrition.

After extensive training, RCPCH and General Medical Council (GMC,UK) awarded him a Certificate of Sub-Specialty training (C.S.S.T) in Paediatric Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Nutrition. With a passion for Nutritional Medicine, he took up a three years part-time course and successfully completed “Diploma in Nutritional Medicine” from the University of Surrey.
