Histopathology is equipped with advanced tissue processing equipment’s, automated cryostat for intraoperative frozen sections consultation and fully automated immunohistochemistry strainers for rapid turnaround times. Cytopathology provides liquid-based cytology (LBC) tests and fine-needle aspiration services. We have a large number of IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY antibodies for correct tumour typing. We have full immunofluorescence for renal biopsy studies.
We ensure that the patient receive accurate results in the shortest possible time with our fully automated clinical chemistry analyzers which are manned by highly trained and motivated lab technologists. Our state of the art nephelometer and capillary electrophoresis provide most accurate results. We are also performing basic toxicology screening like drug assays, organophosphate poisoning screen, drugs of abuse testing and therapeutic drugs monitoring (Tacrolimus, Cyclosporine, etc..). All the instruments are directly interfaced with HIS and after the verification by competent staff results can be viewed by clinicians at outpatient services and nurses and clinicians at inpatient services at wards. The complete automation and LIS interfacing of equipment’s allows us to perform effective standardization of test procedures to maintain accuracy and precision of testing with nil operator variation and minimal TAT of reporting.
