Dr. Benhur Joel Shadrach is a Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine specialist. He completed his DM from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur.  His area of special interest involve Interventional Pulmonology and has performed more than 500 procedures including bronchoscopy; Endobronchial Ultrasound guided biopsy [EBUS-FNB], Trans-bronchial lung biopsies, Cryotherapy, airway debulking & stenting, Medical Thoracoscopy, Post Lung Transplant airway management & Foreign body removal among therapeutic interventions.

He also has a keen focus in Clinical Pulmonology with an experience of 7+ years in the  optimal management of Asthma, Bronchiectasis, COPD, Lung Cancer, ILD, Pleural effusion, Sleep related disorders, Pneumonia, TB, COVID-19 and other rare respiratory infections across the country.

He is also an astute academician, teacher and researcher with more than 25 publications in various PubMed Indexed International Journals. He was part of the renowned “WHO SOLIDARITY TRIAL” evaluating repurposed antiviral drugs for COVID-19 treatment and the data was published in New England Journal of Medicine [NEJM] in 2021.
