Dr. Ashok Kumar brings over 11 years of expertise in interventional cardiology, having performed more than 8,000 cardiac procedures, including over 2,000 angioplasties and 6,000 coronary angiograms. His clinical practice covers complex coronary interventions, primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, bifurcation and Left Main Coronary Artery stenting, Chronic Total Occlusion interventions, device closures (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, Ventricular Septal Defect), pacemaker and ICD implantation, and advanced imaging technologies such as Intravascular Ultrasound, Optical Coherence Tomography, Rotational Atherectomy, and Intravascular Lithotripsy.

He completed his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and earned a DM in Cardiology from the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. Recognized for his clinical and academic excellence, he has received prestigious awards including the Times Excellence Award (2020), Vaidya Ratna Award (2018), and the Gold Medal for Best Young Investigator – Telangana CSI (2015).

Dr. Ashok Kumar is a member of leading medical associations, including the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Cardiological Society of India (CSI), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and American College of Cardiology (ACC). He has also served as a Live Case Operator at national cardiology forums and as an invited speaker at international congresses.
