Brief Profile
Dr. SNK Chenduran is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopist with expertise in Third Space Endoscopy and interventional gastroenterology. He currently serves as the Chief Consultant at Shwetha Speciality Hospital, Trichy, and as a Visiting Consultant at leading tertiary care centers in Chennai and Trichy.
He is the first to perform Third Space Endoscopy procedures—POEM, STER, and ESD—in the Trichy and delta regions, and remains one of the few specialists offering these advanced interventions outside major metropolitan centers. His pioneering achievements include Tamil Nadu’s first STER for a large esophageal tumor, the first PEN (Percutaneous Endoscopic Necrosectomy) outside Chennai, and the state’s first R-POES (Readily Per Oral Endoscopic Septotomy) for Zenker’s Diverticulum.
An active member of leading international and national gastroenterology societies, Dr. Chenduran is a regular faculty at major conferences and workshops. His contributions to advanced endoscopic techniques, research, and training reflect his commitment to clinical excellence and innovation in gastrointestinal medicine.
