Dr. Dinesh Jothimani is the Director of Hepatology & Medical Gastroenterology with over 18 years of clinical experience in managing complex liver diseases and transplantation.
He trained in the United Kingdom for 6 years (2004–2010), earning the MRCP (UK) and CCT in Hepatology, Gastroenterology & General Medicine, followed by the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (FRCP, Glasgow). His advanced international training and qualifications reflect his strong academic and clinical foundation.
A senior transplant hepatologist, he has performed over 500 ERCPs and has extensive expertise in acute liver failure, viral and autoimmune hepatitis, advanced transplant hepatology, and therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Dinesh is also a prolific academician with more than 50 publications, textbook chapters, and research contributions in leading international journals. His research spans autoimmune liver disease, viral hepatitis, NASH, transplant outcomes, and COVID-related liver complications.
With international training and globally recognized qualifications, he contributes advanced expertise and leadership to the hospital’s liver program. His work strengthens comprehensive liver services, ensuring patients receive world-class standards in diagnosis, treatment, and transplant care.
