Eligibility For Admission

A. Candidates who have passed Medical Post Graduate Degree Courses recognized by the Medical Council of India are eligible to join in Post–Doctoral Fellowship Programme. This includes M.D., M.S., D.M., M.Ch., & D.N.B., in the concerned specialty.

B. Candidates who have studied in foreign countries (outside India) and qualified in Medical P.G, Diploma in Clinical Courses, FRCS, MRCP, MRCS, FRACS & AB or any other equivalent specialty degree in their country of concerned specialty are also eligible to join the Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme

Admission

The admission for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme is twice a year i.e 1st January and 1st July.

(a) Admission upto 31st January – 28th February is the last date for registration

(b) Admission up to 31st July – 31st August is the last date for registration.

The Institution can admit maximum of Eight (8) students per year per Post- Doctoral Fellowship Programme i.e., either in January/July sessions or 4 candidates for each session (January or July). At all times the Trainee to Trainer ratio cannot exceed 2:1.

Application Process

Applications for the above fellowships open 3 months before the start of the session in March & October and close 1 month prior to the fellowship start date.
