Dr. Suresh Anantharaj is a Pulmonary Physician with over 20 years of experience in managing complex respiratory diseases. His clinical expertise spans fibre optic bronchoscopy, EBUS, medical thoracoscopy, cryo biopsy, ICU procedures, airwave oscillometry, pulmonary function testing, and sleep studies.
Trained at the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore, he further strengthened his academic foundation with an FRCP in Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. His pursuit of excellence includes advanced certifications and international training in Interventional Pulmonology at the University of Chicago and ERBE Academy in Germany, as well as an Executive Management Program from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Suresh Anantharaj is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Fellow of the International Medical Sciences Academy, and an active member of the Indian Chest Society, European Respiratory Society, and Indian Association of Respiratory Care. Deeply committed to academic medicine, he has trained over 100 national board, MRCP, and MD postgraduates, guided thesis work, and served as faculty at numerous CME programs and national conferences. He also serves as Associate Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai.
Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to clinical research in airway diseases, bronchiectasis, lung infections, and airwave oscillometry, presenting at prestigious international forums including ERS and ILTS.
