Dr. B. Karthikeyan is an altruistic, committed and assiduous Nephrology Professional and has a deep understanding of Evaluating and treating a spectrum of kidney-related disorders. He has offered hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, renal biopsies, and post-surgical care for patients who have recently had a kidney transplant and worked alongside primary care physicians to determine the best method of care for kidney patients with co-morbidities. He is well-versed in Nephrology, including electrolyte balance, acute kidney injury and continuous renal replacement therapy, chronic kidney disease, and end-stage renal disease, including understanding and experience with hemodialysis peritoneal dialysis and renal transplant. He is passionate about transplantation, especially high-risk procedures like ABO-incompatible kidney transplantation. He is also passionate about doing Intervention procedures like permcath insertion, peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion and AV fistula creation.
