Cardiovascular Thoracic:

• As a team we have conducted more than 5000 cardiac procedures in last ten years
• Success rates on par with worldwide benchmarks
• Our areas of expertise are:
  • Surgery for thoracic aortic diseases including TEVAR
  • Total arterial revascularization CABG
  • Valve preserving surgeries for valvular lesions of the heart
  • Minimally invasive cardiac procedures and thoracic procedures (VATS)
• First team in state to conduct successful CABGs in post-liver transplant patients
• First team to organise and conduct Cardiac support group for Comprehensive Cardiac rehabilitation.

Cardiology:

• Successfully completed over 800 Cath procedures since inception of the hospital, that includes 700 coronary angiograms, over 100 PTCA (angioplasty) procedures.
• Successfully performed Rotablation assisted PTCA procedure in chronic liver disease patient listed for transplant.
• Successfully performed over 40 primary PTCA procedures with average door to balloon time less than 90 minutes.
